Our organic Ceylon cinnamon comes from certified organic cultivation in Sri Lanka, the traditional home of true Ceylon cinnamon. For production, the delicate inner bark of young cinnamon shoots is carefully removed by hand, gently dried, and then ground into a fine, light brown powder.
Ceylon cinnamon is distinguished by its particularly fine, mild, and less pungent aroma. It is excellent for cakes, pastries, porridge, muesli, yogurt, desserts, and fruit compote. It can also be used to aromatically refine tea, chai, punch, and other hot beverages.
