Our organic coconut flour is made from the flesh of organically grown coconuts. The coconut meat is shredded, dried, and, after extracting part of the coconut oil, finely ground and sifted.
Coconut flour is particularly well-suited for cakes, muffins, pancakes, bread, and other baked goods. It can also be used to refine muesli, porridge, smoothies, and desserts, as well as to thicken sauces and soups.
Since coconut flour absorbs a lot of liquid, it is usually only used as a partial substitute in baking and cannot always replace conventional flour in equal proportions. With its high fiber and protein content, it is a versatile ingredient for vegetarian and vegan cuisine.
